About Us
Alpha Chi Sigma is the only professional chemistry fraternity in the United States. Founded in 1902, the fraternity is more than 100 years old with over 70,000 members of both men and women pursuing a wide variety of chemistry-related careers. The Beta Eta chapter here at the University of North Texas was founded in 1952.
Collegiate members joining here benefit from help with their studies, potential leadership and management roles in the chapter, help to pursue undergraduate research, and brother guided mentorship. We also provide an opportunity to create lifelong friendships with others interested in chemistry. Sometimes it’s just nice to walk into a room and be able to tell a chemistry joke!
The fraternity is guided by three objects: To Bind. To Strive. To Aid.
